Ugandan to pay 5 times more for Yellow Fever vaccination card The Ugandan Ministry of Health announced a one-week extension for its Yellow Fever Preventive Mass Vaccination Campaign Exercise. Running from April 8th to 14th, 2024, the campaign aims to provide free vaccinations and replace old yellow fever cards with new, internationally recognized ones. Dr. Diana Atwine, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, addressed the media alongside Dr. Henry Mwebesa, Director General of Health Services, and Dr. Danial Kyabayinze, Director of Public Health. Dr. Atwine highlighted the phasing out of old yellow fever cards in favor of new ones equipped with security barcodes.
